Where to stay on Old Providence
There are numerous places to stay on the islands. Most are family serviced Cabanas and Bed and Breakfast-type settings with 5 to 15 units. At this time I am affiliated with 2 Hotels listed below.
Sonny's Cabanas
Centrally located in Agua Dulce sector you will find everything you need within walking distance of this family owned and operated resort where you can’t help but feel at home. The Cabañas are spacious and cozy with TV, refrigerator and balcony’s overlooking the tropical mountain views. Rooms are capable of accommodating up to four guests. The compound is manicured with a native tropical plant and has a restaurant, gift shop and scooter rental on site for you conveyance. A short walk will bring you to one of the most beautiful beaches in Old Providence, there is also a internet café, a coffee shop, grocery store, several restaurants, a few bars and the dive shop nearby.
Hotel Pirate Morgan
One of the biggest hotels on the island, Morgan’s, centrally located in Agua Dulce offers waterfront gardens and restaurant. Relax watching the sunset in the tropical garden only a few feet away from the most beautiful beach in Old Providence. All rooms have balconies with hammocks over looking either the pool or sea. Rooms are large and clean and offer TV, AC, and mini refrigerators for your connivance. Pool has a wet bar and lounge chairs for your relaxation, although you may have to wait for your drink in this relaxed atmosphere. The tropical grounds offer a cozy atmosphere and the service is friendly. Also on site is a grocery and conference room.
